If any students opt for discontinuation of his / her studies, he/she must clear up his / her tuition and other fees for all the four years or remaining year(s) till the completion of the course. Only on payment of the balance tuition and other fees, he / she would be released from the course. Apart from that he /she required to give declaration in the specific format that he / she has no claim to the seat, in any circumstance in future and payment made would be forfeited.
Degree is awarded during the convocation of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Haringhata, Nadia, City campus: Salt Lake City, Kolkata to the successful candidates.
The course offered at BCDA College of Pharmacy & Technology is Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm). The duration of the course is four years as per the syllabus of MAKAUT, Kolkata and All India Council for Technical Education / Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. Minimum qualification for admission to the course is (10+2), of West Bengal , Council of Higher Secondary Education with Physics, Chemistry as compulsory, Mathematics / Biology as optional or an equivalent examination of other approved board of university and qualified WBJEE / JEE (main), subject to online selection by the WBJEEB, Kolkata, West Bengal.
The students are strictly required to attend the college in prescribed uniform only, violation of which will attract disciplinary actions. The dress codes for boys are light blue shirt, navy blue trouser, matching neck-tie and black shoes. The same for girls are sky blue kameez and navy blue salwar or navy blue pants and sky –blue shirt. The student can get them tailored /stitched from the college approved suppliers for the sake of uniformity & less expenses.
Students are not allowed to go out of the college campus during college hours. However, under pressing situations or for valid reasons, concerned students can go out of the campus gate after obtaining permission in written issued by the principal’s office with consent of the parents.
Candidates passed Diploma in Pharmacy examinations securing minimum 50% (45% for SC) from a College approved by Pharmacy Council of India and qualified in Joint Entrance Examinations for Lateral category, conducted by W.B.J.E.E, and subjects to selection by the WBJEEB for Pharmacy. Few such seats are available at our College.
Attendance is mandatory for theory, tutorial and practical classes, as per regulations of Maulna Abul Kalam Aazad Universitry of Technology and norms of Pharmacy Council of India failing which; those students would be disqualified from appearing in slot & semester examinations.
